Every year the AL West is a battle and it seems a different team wins. The White Sox are normally out of it, but the Naps, Browns and us (Tigers) normally battle for the crown.
I want to discuss our division a little. It always seems the White Sox are poorly run (lol) and sitting at the bottom. They are above .500 this year with a good young crowd, but can they ever be as great as the Tigers? Heck no!
The Browns have been able to squeak in a division win here and there, but they lack consistent baseball playing. A team that shows brilliant play, but cannot do it every year: This screams of an owner who cannot evaluate talent. They just get lucky from year to year.
The Naps are the most consistent team (except for the Tigers of course!). They used to be a powerhouse (for a team that hovers around .500). They have Ray Collins and not a lot else. They scare us very little.
The Tigers are the best team in the PBA ever. We have a World Championship to prove and after we win our second championship we will be tied with the Highlanders and Cardinals for most championships (2).
I will admit our division has won the Championship with 3 different teams (everyone except the stinky White Sox). The Naps have reached the World Series twice (by the beard of Zeus only). The Tigers are done playing tiddlywinks! Allow us to show the greatness of the King of the Jungle (Tigers, not lions!).

Wow, not much respect for the Naps. I'll let my 4 division titles (3 straight), 2 AL titles, and 1910 World Series Championship speak for themselves. It's alright, as a native Clevelander, we have a saying "At least we're not Detroit"
