After leaving the Reds, Chappie has turned into a pitching monster. 29-7 2.07 might be the best in the PBA.
Beany could be the best left hander going 26-14 2.52 and led the Reds to the playoffs in any division but the one they are in.
Chick is in the shadow of Chappie, but like most of the arms in St. Louis, he has been transformed from journeyman to one of the best in the league. An injury to Frank Smith gave these guys the ball and they knew what to do with it.
Bill Hogg had a quiet season going 21.17, but an ERA of 3.31 will keep out of the winner's circle.
Walter "The Big Train" Johnson went 20-17 2.46 in 41 games showing he has great endurance.
