Tris has quickly moved outside the shadow of Ty Cobb to become a star in his own right. He hit .321 and had an OPS of .885.
Steve Evans may be in the top 5 of best all around players in the PBA. Evans got hurt this year and only played in 104 games and it may keep him from winning this award. He did bat .332 with 9 HR in limited games.
2b Eddie Collins may be the smartest player in the game. He plays a demanding position and one not known for offense. He did smack 7 HR and hit .312.
CF Benny Kauff is not known as one of the players in the league, but his great season in limited play kept him on this list. He has no shot at winning as 55 games is not enough.
Ted Easterly is the best catcher in the PBA and one of the best pure hitters. He hit .346 and had 14 triples at the most demanding position.
Ty Cobb had an injury plagued season, but he still warrants mention at 94 games he hit .321 and tore up the bases with 18 SB.
Al Bridwell almost brought the Superbas to the World Series again by hitting .339 and being the top SS in the game.
